The forest Cottage, Constantia
York and Victoria chose an intimate, intentional celebration at Forest Cottage in Constantia, tucked beneath the trees and surrounded by that quiet woodland magic.
From the moment I arrived, the day held an effortless, relaxed ease that made space for the real stuff. Soft glances, deep breaths, big laughs, and the in between moments shared with their favourite people. Love and laughter carried through the forest, and the afternoon ended on the sweetest note with ice cream from The Hustle team.
Some of my favourite details were beautifully personal. A gentle walk through the gardens, getting ready together, and then walking to the ceremony side by side. The catering was lovingly taken care of by the groom’s mom and dad, Chadwick Jubber set the tone with soulful live music while everyone enjoyed canapés and drinks and Theodore Key painted their ceremony live, a tangible piece of the day they will cherish forever.
Michelle from Rolling Events looked after every detail with such care and it is always a joy working alongside her and her wonderful team.
