Matthew and Eliam’s Langkloof Roses Wedding in Wellington
Matthew and Eliam celebrated their wedding beneath the trees at the beautiful Langkloof Roses, surrounded by mountains, gardens, nature and the people they love most.
Langkloof Roses has always held a very special place in my heart. One of the first weddings I ever photographed took place here around fifteen years ago. Elizca and Dewald’s celebration remains such a vivid memory, making it incredibly meaningful to return all these years later for Matthew and Eliam’s wedding.
Nestled just outside Wellington, Langkloof Roses is a romantic Cape Winelands wedding venue filled with fragrant rose gardens, established trees and beautiful mountain views. It has a peaceful quality that encourages everyone to slow down and be fully present. Matthew and Eliam’s ceremony beneath the trees felt completely at home within this landscape.
I was honoured to photograph this wedding on behalf of Seasons of Light. Thank you, Nici, for trusting me with your wonderful clients. Matthew and Eliam were an absolute dream, and I loved being part of their celebration.
What I adored most about this wedding was everything happening between the expected moments. The glances exchanged when nobody else was watching, the laughter between friends, the embraces that lingered a little longer and the quiet moments shared between Matthew and Eliam. Their day was filled with the honest, unscripted connections that bring me so much joy as a wedding photographer.
As a Paarl based wedding photographer living close to Wellington, Langkloof Roses feels wonderfully close to home. I would love to photograph many more weddings, proposals, engagement sessions and intimate celebrations here. Its gardens, trees and mountain setting offer endless possibilities for natural wedding photography throughout the seasons.
Matthew and Eliam, I wish you the most beautiful journey together. Keep choosing one another and remain as present with each other as you were on this day. Thank you for allowing me to preserve these memories for you.
