Langskuur, Herbertsdale
Annegret and Ruan got married on Annegret's family farm- Langskuur in Herbertsdale.
I knew from all the special details they mentioned before the day that it would be an incredibly beautiful celebration between these two and their people.
The ceremony took place infront of the main house where her parents live, their confetti was under a tree they call the “huweliksboom” where Annegret’s parents got married 32 years ago, they also planted the tree.
Their canapés took place at “Kortskuur” next to what they call “the secret garden”. Kortskuur is the couple's home on the farm and Annegret’s mother handcrafted details in the cement of the arch stairway of the building. Since they live on a dairy farm- they had fresh cold milk on tap at the canapés :)
There was so many details on the farm- textures, building, special places, chicken-coops, chickens, cows, cats and gorgeous gardens to capture and I had the absolute best time.
There are no words to say how grateful I was at the opportunity to be on their farm, capture such a significant day, their people, the families and all the joy of the day.
